The equilibrium data were explained assuming that the species HL<sup>+</sup>, ML<sub>2</sub><sup>3+</sup> and ML<sub>3</sub><sup>3+</sup> (M<sup>3+</sup> = Eu<sup>3+</sup> or Am<sup>3+</sup>) are extracted into the organic phase. Extraction and stability constants of the cationic complex species in nitrobenzene saturated with water were determined and discussed. From the experimental results, it is obvious that this effective ligand L for the Eu<sup>3+</sup> and Am<sup>3+</sup> could be considered as a potential extraction agent for nuclear waste treatment.</p>}, number={1}, journal={Journal of the Serbian Chemical Society}, author={Makrlík, Emanuel and Vaňura, Petr and Selucký, Pavel and Brusko, Vasily}, year={2018}, month={Feb.}, pages={51–60} }
